Check out his set at the Bacchanale Festival in September 2015 and enjoy:

Aphelion (Subspec)

Rhys aka Aphelion watched a hazy glow emerge through heavy clouds one early morning in Northern Spain. At the same time, Oscar Mulero effortlessly filtered thunderous rhythms that bounced off the mountains for festivalgoers to absorb. Being present for the visual and auditory splender of this moment birthed the idea for the project Aphelion.

With only a decade of selection and less than 50 gigs there’s a lot more to be learned by this emerging artist. He’s an amateur in production and has had one single (as re_Click w/ RAFH) that was remixed by John Massey, Rennie Foster & Jay Zoney on Subspec Music (Vancouver).

Aphelion recently relocated to NYC from his home of Canada. So far in 2016 he has put his creative energy into studying production and developing a mixing style that is ready to share. Now that the style is ready, his focus will be on playing out and production.

Oliver Deutschmann (Vidab – Falkplatz – Slim Audio – GKNSTR)

Berlin’s Oliver Deutschmann has gained a reputation over the last 15 years through his pure passion, diverse track selection and an unambiguous mixing ability. Years before he released his first EPs he had already set himself on a path that would see him DJ all over the world, eventually leading to his adopted home of Berghain where he has lit up both rooms of the club dozens of times since first playing there almost ten years ago. Deutschmann displays a distinct unwillingness to be pigeonholed in any one style, and is right at home whether he’s warming things up with an understated house groove or thrashing the big rooms with his grandiose brand of techno.

While honing his abilities at the controls, he also began testing the waters of production and label ownership, and has since created four labels: Vidab, Falkplatz, Slim Audio and the vinyl only imprint GKNSTR. Releases on Soma, Aim, Caduceus, Etruria Beat, Mobilee, and his own imprints culminated in his 2013 debut album, ‘Out of the Dark,’ that Resident Advisor described to be “as potent as any techno album released in the last few years.” As an impassioned DJ, producer, and label owner, Deutschmann has ensured that his position in the forefront was never a fleeting one, and with numerous EP’s and a second album on the way, it looks like things will stay that way.

Ness

Ness (TGP / Ear To Ground / Dynamic Reflection / Informa Records / Mental Modern / Phorma / Outis / Planet Rhythm / Synewave / M_REC LTD / Aconito / Prologue)

With a background in sound engineering and many years of research and fine-tuning, he gradually developed a distinct personal style with a strong focus on atmosphere combined with hypnotic vibes. In 2007 he opened his own record store in his hometown in Sardinia (Italy) and 2 years later he founded his first label – Mono Records.

Acknowledged for his individual style, Ness has worked with labels like Phorma (Sweden), Synewave (USA), Dynamic Reflection (The Netherlands), M_Rec Ltd. Kessell (Granulart – PoleGroup)

Kessell is the alter ego of Valentín Corujo, half of the Exium duo, this is his solo project where he explores the most liquid of his sonic palette. His music has naturally evolved from a hard and minimalist sound to their current style mixing dub, detroit techno, electro, minimal or techno, which has lead to the creation of his label Granulart Recordings, physical/digital label focused on the deepest side of techno with dub influences and classic Detroit sound, designed both to release his own stuff as well as music from artists that fit the philosophy of the label. A label where precision and musicality occur hand in hand with the intention of creating timeless pieces, outside the passage of time, sounds you can enjoy as a delicatessen over the years.

Alfredo Mazzilli (Weekend Circuit – Lanthan Audio – Edit Select)

Born and raised in Italy, Alfredo Mazzilli, approaches the world of music very early. His first passion is the guitar but, with time, his penchant for electronic music becomes increasingly clear.
Influenced by the likes of Donato Dozzy, Aphex Twin, Sandwell District, Dino Sabatini and Substance, he soon shows an extremely versatile nature, as well as his desire to experiment with different genres, not giving up, however, to a consistency that leads him to range in the vast musical landscape, while remaining true to his style that favors ambient techno and deep techno sounds.

In March 2015, Alfredo releases his first EP “Voices from the Narrow Ways” for Planet Rhythm, then he produces a second EP “Pensiero” for Truth or Concequences. Over time, the structure of his sound becomes increasingly defined and recognizable; this allows him to record a track in the various “The Wandering II Compilation”, on the Canadian Silent Season label.

2015 turns out to be a prolific year under different perspectives: Alfredo has the chance to perform in the famous Portuguese club “Gare”, and to release a second EP for Planet Rhythm.

He’s currently working with Weekend Circuit, Edit Select & Lanthan Audio.
